The WSL is back after the winter break and so are Ellen White, Jen Beattie and Ben Haines, who are ready to get stuck into the transfer window so far! 

Tottenham and Manchester United have already been busy, adding players to their squads who they hope can help them end the season on a high, plus the team discuss some of the big-name players who could be on the move. With two managerial changes confirmed in December, we look at the new faces who on the touchline for London City Lionesses and West Ham. Ellen and Jen also look ahead to the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Manchester United to the Emirates, a game which could be pivotal in the fight for Champions League places.

New year, new signings and new managers as the WSL returns!

Head of safety, sustainability & infrastructure for the WSL Hannah Buckley joins Ben Haines to discuss how stadiums need to be better equipped for female players and supporters.

WSL Football has unveiled what it says are "world-first design guidelines" for updating existing stadiums - or building new ones - so they better cater for women, at a time when the women's game is growing.

Katie Smith looks back at England’s dramatic Women’s Euros campaign as the team managed injuries, made game-changing substitutions, and fought through extra time and penalty shoot-outs on their way to becoming back-to-back champions.

Ben Haines, Ellen White, Jen Beattie and Emma Sanders host a Christmas special! 

The team do a mid season review and revisit predictions made at the start of the season and whether they expect much to change. Emma gives an insight into what recruitment we could see in the January transfer market, plus a look at the WSL2 with play-off spots up for grabs. 

Bristol City manager Charlotte Healy and Newcastle boss Tanya Oxtoby join the pod and share how they are working to get promoted to the WSL. Tanya also shares how important pigs in blanket are to her team!

Ben Haines, Ellen White and Jen Beattie react to the Champions League draw with Arsenal and Manchester United both in the play-offs in February. United will face Atletico Madrid, Arsenal play Leuven with Chelsea coming up against whoever wins out of those two sides. 

Elsewhere West Ham manager Rehanne Skinner has been sacked with her side second from bottom in the WSL. Senior Women’s Football reporter Emma Sanders joins the team to discuss the decision with the club winning just one WSL match in 11 games.

Ben Haines, Ellen White and Jen Beattie look at the bottom of the table and why Ellen and Jen think Liverpool have a better chance of staying in the WSL than West Ham. 

Who will be more attractive to players in the January transfer window, Liverpool or West Ham? It was a goal fest at Spurs United with United coming from 3-0 down to draw 3-3. Ellen and Jen question the late substitutions from Spurs that invited pressure from Marc Skinners side. 

It’s the final group phases of the Champions League with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all in action. And the team chat the title race as we enter the winter break and how Bunny Shaw is looking unstoppable having reached a record of 103 goals in 120 appearances for City.

Relegation, Champions League & Bunny Shaw unstoppable

Ahead of the third round of the Women's FA Cup, Senior Women's Football reporter Emma Sanders met up with Nat Lowe, captain of Altrincham FC, the lowest-ranked side left in the competition who play York City Ladies on Sunday 14th December. 

Nat is a former professional golfer who quit football due to the lack of opportunities when she was a teenager. She tells Emma all about her fascinating journey back to playing football, her favourite golf courses and what it means to make it to this stage of the competition.
