Senior women’s football news reporter Emma Sanders has travelled down to Cobham to chat to Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert and Alyssa Thompson ahead of a huge run of games for the WSL club.

Erin is back on the pod and discusses the six-point gap at the top of the league as well as relishing big crowds and personal milestones as she approaches a decade with the London club. Alyssa, one of Chelsea's newest recruits, makes her Women's Football Weekly debut and chats to Emma about West End musicals, dealing with the cold weather and being nervous about playing in the WSL!

Manager Renee Slegers also joins the pod after Arsenal released a documentary about their journey to winning the Champions League last season. Jen with the starring role of doing the voice over for the doc! 

Kim and Beth chat about how they're feeling on and off the pitch, plus an insight into the communication amongst the team and staff and how that works. Renee reflects on how she stays so calm under pressure and her ambitions as the Arsenal manager.

Spurs push for Champions League spot & Man City maintain gap at the top

The WSL is back after the winter break and so are Ellen White, Jen Beattie and Ben Haines, who are ready to get stuck into the transfer window so far! 

Tottenham and Manchester United have already been busy, adding players to their squads who they hope can help them end the season on a high, plus the team discuss some of the big-name players who could be on the move. With two managerial changes confirmed in December, we look at the new faces who on the touchline for London City Lionesses and West Ham. Ellen and Jen also look ahead to the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Manchester United to the Emirates, a game which could be pivotal in the fight for Champions League places.

New year, new signings and new managers as the WSL returns!

Head of safety, sustainability & infrastructure for the WSL Hannah Buckley joins Ben Haines to discuss how stadiums need to be better equipped for female players and supporters.

WSL Football has unveiled what it says are "world-first design guidelines" for updating existing stadiums - or building new ones - so they better cater for women, at a time when the women's game is growing.
