Controversy Over Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's "Rashtrapatni" Statement On Draupadi Murmu, BJP Aggressive

"After days of stalemate, both Rajya Sabha and Loksabha were off to stormy start today. Usually it is the opposition which is seen aggressively protesting against the govt. But today the parliament witnessed a role reversal. The BJP leaders today attacked the Congress over the statement made by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Presid ent of India Draupadi murmu. The BJP MPs led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman protested outside the parliament and demanded his resignation. The posters also asked Congress president Sonia Gandhi to apologize for the statements of Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury who is Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha. In LokSabha Amethi MP Smriti Irani took charge on behalf of BJP. Seemingly raging with anger, Smriti Irani not only slammed the Congress but also said that the party sanctioned the insult of the President of India.
