Mailbag: Who will surprise us the most this season?

Liverpool took Crystal Palace to penalties. Vithushan Ehantharajah, aka the Football Ramble’s official Rat Correspondent, thinks that Liverpool will be pleased with the outcome.

He’s joined by Marcus and Jim to look back on what was a “good game, good game” - although it might have been even better if Dean Henderson swapped his cap for an Oasis bucket hat. The youngest person gets the job - that’s Daniel Levy’s new motto, apparently! Pete’s in the hot seat today and he’s joined by Luke and Jim to once again try and make sense of Tottenham’s recruitment strategy.

They also enjoy the fact that Jamie Vardy hasn’t forgotten how to be Jamie Vardy despite not scoring in six months, before torturing Jim with a preview of tonight’s huge clash between Arsenal and Man City. The key question in our analysis was, of course, should Mikel Arteta shave his hair off?
