How are we going to get by without any football? With rampant transfer speculation of course! The rumour mill has increased production with everyone seemingly having decided that Harry Kane will be leaving Spurs on his behalf, Arsenal saying it’s “hard to rule out” a move for Jesse Lingard and Gareth Bale being targeted by Everton. We’ll take it.

We also have time to learn about Troy Deeney once refusing to board a flight because Odion Ighalo didn’t pass to him, Alan Shearer’s abrasive telephone manner and a position unique to Germany; the Space Investigator.
