Mailbag: Who will surprise us the most this season?

Liverpool took Crystal Palace to penalties. Vithushan Ehantharajah, aka the Football Ramble’s official Rat Correspondent, thinks that Liverpool will be pleased with the outcome.

Bloody hell Denmark. Bloody hell. Jules, Luke and Jim react to an epic night in Copenhagen which had it all: thunderbastards, bandaged leaders and the most extraordinary comeback story. 

We also hail the Finns for their brave showing against those bothersome Belgians, who might just whip the trophy out of England’s hands despite Gareth Southgate engineering a genius progression to the last 16. Plus, we test some more tournament formats and turn our attentions to two huge clashes tonight for Scotland and England!
