MNC: Manchester City close in on Arsenal

Former Spurs and Forest midfielder Andy Reid joins Rick Edwards and Luke Edwards to analyse a season-defining weekend of Premier League action.

Manchester City wrestled control of the title race with a 2-1 home win over leaders Arsenal and relegation candidates Leeds and Nottingham Forest both won while Spurs conceded in the 95th minute to draw.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa all went closer to securing a Champions League spot – will that be enough for Michael Carrick and Arne Slot to keep their jobs?

In April 1996, Newcastle and Liverpool met at Anfield with both trying to beat Manchester United to the title. What followed was one of the Premier League's greatest ever matches - a 7-goal-thriller with a late winner. 30 years on, former Liverpool player Jason McAteer, former Newcastle defender Steve Howey, the Anfield Wrap's Ian Ryan and the Athletic's George Caulkin join Alistair Bruce-Ball to reflect on the match and its place in Premier League history.
