The Commentators' View: Prawn sandwiches & back to square one

Steve Crossman is joined by Stephen Warnock, Andros Townsend, Michael Brown and Alistair Bruce-Ball reacting to Arsenals 0-0 draw against Liverpool. 

Arsenal are six points clear at the top of table while Liverpool stay fourth, eight points behind third-placed Aston Villa. Hear from Mikel Arteta and Liverpool boss Arne Slot who is asked about the incident when Gabriel Martinelli attempted to push Conor Bradley off the pitch after he had gone down injured. 

The team also discuss Manchester United and what does the ‘DNA’ of the club really mean.

The Debrief: Arsenal miss chance to go eight clear with Liverpool draw

Mark Chapman is joined by Peter Schmeichel, Shay Given, Rachel Corsie, Michael Brown and Chris Coles on a mad goal-happy night of Premier League action.

Darren Fletcher’s first game as interim boss at Manchester United ends in a 2-2 draw at Burnley, but Schmeichel says looking to past players is the right thing to do for the club, now and going forward.

There’s huge drama at St James’ Park, where Newcastle scored the latest-ever winning goal in Premier League history.

Manchester City are held by Brighton, giving Arsenal a chance to go eight points clear on Thursday night. Should City be looking at signing Marc Guehi in this window?

Pep Guardiola’s side have already entered the market, looking set to bring in Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth. He finished his Cherries career in the most stunning fashion, scoring a late winner to put Andoni Iraola’s team on the right side of a five-goal thriller.

You’ll hear from Iraola, as well as Brentford boss Keith Andrews, whose Bees team have climbed to fifth in the table after an excellent festive run.

Enzo Maresca leaves Chelsea

Rick Edwards, Luke Edwards and Nigel Reo-Coker discuss the weekend’s Premier League action. 

Spurs got a huge win away from home against Crystal Palace to end the year with a win. In form Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored for Leeds to draw 1-1 against Sunderland and make it six goals in a row. 

It’s an 11th successive win in all competitions for Villa as they came from behind to beat Chelsea thanks to a double from Ollie Watkins. 

And as we head into 2026 Luke, Nigel and Rick pick their manager and player of the season so far!
