The RPI is officially dead; long live the new and improved NCAA Tournament (8.22)

On Wednesday, the NCAA officially announced the end of the RPI era. The Division I men's basketball selection committee will now use a new metric, known as NET, to rank and sort teams for inclusion to the Big Dance.
