While the Nordic countries have long collaborated on asylum and migration issues, the specific focus on return and reintegration remains a vital but often underexplored aspect. As pressure increases to enhance cooperation on return migration, there are growing advantages for the Nordic countries to collaborate on building capacities in countries of origin to better manage the challenges of readmitting return migrants. This podcast episode will delve into the NORAQ project, a Nordic cooperation initiative aimed at supporting potential migrants and returnees through both information dissemination and reintegration assistance. Together with the authors of a newly published Delmi-report and policy brief, and key actors within the NORAQ-project, we will explore the challenges and opportunities of deeper Nordic cooperation, with a particular focus on capacity-building in countries of origin.Guests: Anna Hammarstedt & Iris Luthman (report authors at Delmi), Kjell-Terje Torvik (Swedish Migration Agency), Knut Holm (UDI Norway), and Peter Krogh Sørensen (PKS Consultancies). Featuring a recorded interview with Fatimah Jarkas (ICMPD, Iraq). Moderator: Alice Petrén.
