I know someone who worked close with Charlie Kirk for many years. He was there, five feet from Charlie when he was shot at UVU. I put up a tweet, then pulled it down. We need to stop creating political silos. It's ok to pursue truth, but even truth needs checks, to verify its veracity.

Can We Save Marriage And Christianity?

- I had a very positive call with Aaron Sherinian a couple of days ago. 
 
- There was already a tinderbox set before this Q&A match was lit.
 
- It is not good to bury our heads in the sand on what is happening to the family.
 
People have valid reasons for being concerned. Aaron Sherininian is a good man. Both can be true at the same time. We need to distinguish between the person and the issue.

Many Members Of The Church Are Confused By Those Conflating Root Out Racism with Critical Race Theory
 
The Charge from President Nelson and President Oaks to "Root out racism" and "lead out" against prejudice does not imply support for Critical Race Theory. In fact, looking closely at President Oaks' words since President Nelson made the charge in the October 2020 General Conference, shows just the opposite. Yet many members of the Church and BYU professors make the claim that this important message from our Church leaders is to be carried out through radical leftist ideologies and practices.
