Trump Plays DefensePresident Trump insists to his critics that Iran "surrendered" despite much evidence to the contrary. He took to social media this morning to push back on the widespread and very bipartisan criticism of the MOU. Regardless, it didn't take long for the first round of talks between the US and Iran to be derailed. Vice President Vance was scheduled to be in Switzerland right now, meeting with Iranian negotiators. But that trip was canceled late last night after intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon.
