He discussed London's attractiveness to the rest of the world, noting its stability and certainty as a draw for foreign investments and partnerships. Khan also touched on the UK's political environment and the work the Labour party has to do to win votes in an increasingly fragmented, saying, "I think the idea that somebody is a lifelong Democrat or lifelong Labour voter, those days are gone".
