What a nightmare scenario for our guy Payne Insider... or is this a dream match up for revenge? Zac Taylor and Joe Burrow vs Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. Not going to lie, we were licking our chops hoping for this game to happen. Once holding an 18 point lead at home after one half, the Chiefs failed to win the AFC Championship game a year ago after the Bengals made their adjustments and Burrow led them to an improbable comeback victory. We turn the page to a new season and different circumstances. Mahomes has a major ankle issue and he doesn't have the same weapons he did last year. Bengals on the other hand are trending up like a rocket. No hangover from the Super Bowl loss, winning in bad conditions at Buffalo and now they get Burrow firing on all cylinders with a running game to support him.

San Francisco had to gut out a tough victory against Dallas and while it wasn't pretty, their defense showed why they are #1. Philadelphia trashed the Giants from the opening bell. The Eagles front 7 have operated like savages on the defense end and they are expected to attack Brock Purdy at a high rate. The injury tag has been attached to both these teams heading into Sunday so now we'll see which coach puts his talent in the best position.
