#256: Barbenheimer, Actors Strike, Selling Out

It’s a huge episode this week, as Myf and Zan finally see the Barbie film and we’ll give you our (spoiler free) thoughts. Zan backed it up with Oppenheimer too, so dig into that movie sandwich.

Both films squeezed in their premieres just before American actors joined their writer colleagues in a strike; we unpack what it all means for the people who create all the stuff we bang on about every week, and the future of the industry (and what will be on on our screens in a year’s time).

The Bear S02 has finally landed on local screens and is as stressful as S01, and if reality tv is more your bag prepare yourself for what Myf’s found for you. A book on sex education has been removed from a major Australian retailer’s shelves too. Why?
