Trump Says U.S. Obliterated Military Targets On Iran's Kharg Island

A suspect is dead after ramming a vehicle into a Detroit-area synagogue. Law enforcement sources tell CNN the vehicle is registered to a man originally from Lebanon, and authorities are investigating reports that he had family members who were killed in an Israeli airstrike in recent days. And, in Virginia, a fatal shooting at Old Dominion University is being investigated by the FBI as an act of terrorism. The attacker has been identified as a veteran who has served prison time for trying to aid ISIS. Also, Iran threatened to set the region's oil and gas infrastructure “on fire” if Iranian energy sites are attacked. Plus, the U.S. military says that a refueling aircraft was lost over western Iraq.

Trump Claims “We’ve Won” War With Iran, Offers No Evidence

The Pentagon announced this would be the most intense day of strikes Iran, despite the President's announcement last night that the war could "end soon.” Iran has reportedly begun laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, according to two people familiar with US intelligence reporting on the matter. CENTOM released new video of what it says are strikes on multiple Iranian naval vessels, including 16 mine-layers near the critical waterway. Back in Washington, Democrats on the Senate Armed Services Committee emerged from a classified briefing today sounding alarm bells about the administration's potential plan for putting U.S. troops on the ground.

Despite the FDA’s warning of serious side effects from taking hydroxychloroquine, the President of the United States has defended his decision to take the drug. David Holtgrave, a lead researcher in a hydroxychloroquine study, tells Anderson Cooper in their study they didn’t find a statistically significant benefit of the drug in terms of death rate or abnormal heart rhythms. Plus, Dr. Eric Topol, a cardiologist, adds that there is no sign of any efficacy by taking the anti-malaria drug but there is a sign of significant hazard.
