McConnell doubles down to pressure Republicans, asks for “personal favor” to block January 6 commission

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has ramped up the pressure on his GOP colleagues to oppose a bill that would create a commission to investigation the January 6 insurrection on Capitol Hill. One Republican told CNN that McConnell asked senators to support filibustering the bill as a “personal favor to him.” Democratic Sen.
