My name is jerakah and until recently I felt so trapped by grief. I was feeling guilty for wanting to move forward, knowing the memories I would leave behind.

Fall is Harvest time here in Upstate New York. Here we are equal parts farming and wine country. This season of winning/harvesting/reaping what was sown really got me thinking about the seasons of life. 

One year ago today, on October 6, 2021, I planted a seed that I had no idea if it would produce fruit and I talk about the journey of that one decision and how it has changed the trajectory of my life.
