The drama began before the one and only witness of the day, as hundreds of women all dressed in pink with messages on their t-shirts showing support for Lindsay Clancy gathered outside the courthouse for a silent rally. Jurors had to be questioned one-by-one in a sidebar with the judge per the prosecution’s request. After that, the defense put a hospital chaplain on the stand who testified Lindsay’s first words to her were that she was glad her children were safe.
