Mohammadi, who is currently imprisoned in Iran’s notorious Evin Prison, has spent her life campaigning for women’s rights and the abolition of the death penalty in her country. Ahead of the Nobel announcement, with the help of intermediaries, correspondent Jomana Karadsheh interviewed Mohammadi via letter and audio recording from inside Evin Prison.
