What began in Iran as demonstrations against the dire state of the economy and the cost of living have escalated into a nationwide challenge to the Islamic Republic itself. Iranian Protests Spur Government Backlash

This weekend will mark three months since Hamas attacked Israel. A painful ordeal continues for the families of more than 130 people still thought to be held hostage in Gaza. Prospects of another deal between Israel and Hamas to pause fighting are uncertain, despite a temporary truce in November which saw the release of 105 hostages.
