AirGo is partnering with friend of the show and self-appointed honorary cohost Eve Ewing to present Black Freedom Conversations, a suite featuring Eve in conversation with Black scholars toward collective Black liberation and learning. Each episode corresponds to lectures given by the featured scholar, which are available for free at https://www.blackfreedomlectures.org/.
Episode four features Eve in conversation with Ashon Crawley, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and African American Studies at the University of Virginia. He is author of Blackpentecostal Breath: The Aesthetics of Possibility (Fordham University Press) and The Lonely Letters (Duke University Press). His work is about alternatives to normative function and form, the practice of otherwise possibility.
