Advantage Connors is an ongoing conversation between Tennis legend Jimmy Connors & Brett Connors. Follow along as they cover the worlds of tennis & gambling on a weekly basis along with whatever else pops into their head that day. Jimmy Connors is a tennis legend having played professionally for over 30 years. His record 109 ATP tournament wins still stands today, & includes 8 grand slam singles titles. Brett Connors is a producer for Tennis Channel and has worked in live tennis production for 14 years. Having also traveled the tour with his father in the 80’s and 90’s this gives Brett a unique view of the sport.

Scheffler wins again, & listener questions

Our friend and frequent guest Spencer Segura joins Advantage Connors for the year end episode of the show. Spencer and Jimmy talk about some old school stories from their days at UCLA and what it was like having a parent as a tennis coach. Then some of the big stories from the 2024 season and an early look at the Australian Open betting odds to win. At the top of that list was this weeks guest, the hit king himself Pete Rose joins Advantage Connors! Compared to each other throughout their respective careers, Jimmy and Pete connect on many levels and actually have a lot in common. Both had a parent who helped teach them the game, both had that never quit mentality, and both were second to none when it came to discipline and work ethic. Oh yeah, and both guys liked the action of placing a bet once in a while!
