Advantage Connors is an ongoing conversation between Tennis legend Jimmy Connors & Brett Connors. Follow along as they cover the worlds of tennis & gambling on a weekly basis along with whatever else pops into their head that day. Jimmy Connors is a tennis legend having played professionally for over 30 years. His record 109 ATP tournament wins still stands today, & includes 8 grand slam singles titles. Brett Connors is a producer for Tennis Channel and has worked in live tennis production for 14 years. Having also traveled the tour with his father in the 80’s and 90’s this gives Brett a unique view of the sport.

Scheffler wins again, & listener questions

Spencer Segura conversation Pt 2

Coco Gauff defeated Iga Swiatek and helped propel team USA to a win at the United Cup last week. That's 2 wins in a row for Gauff against Swiatek who had dominated their head to head up to that point, what has Coco figured out?

Alexander Bublik made some comments this week about the "circus" surrounding Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal's retirements. 

Hideki Matsuyama broke the PGA record for lowest score ever in an event by posting -35 to win The Sentry in Kapalua over the weekend. Could this mean a 2nd green jacket could be in order later this year at the Masters for the Japanese player?

At the top of that list was this weeks guest, the hit king himself Pete Rose joins Advantage Connors! Compared to each other throughout their respective careers, Jimmy and Pete connect on many levels and actually have a lot in common. Both had a parent who helped teach them the game, both had that never quit mentality, and both were second to none when it came to discipline and work ethic. Oh yeah, and both guys liked the action of placing a bet once in a while!
