Rice appeared on behalf of Quaker, which is asking people to participate in the “Quaker Good Call Challenge." The challenge encourages people to join the fight against hunger by following three simple steps.

Joining is simple. From now until Dec. 31:

1. Find an empty canister or container, like a Quaker canister.

2. Turn your empty canister into a bank to collect spare change around your home.

3. Take your change to your local Coinstar kiosk and select Feeding America for your donation.
