A handful of familiar faces took the field in Santa Clara on Thursday as the 49ers hosted the Denver Broncos for a joint practice ahead of Saturday's preseason opener. The first full week of 49ers training camp might have brought more questions than answers, especially within San Francisco's wide receiver corps. Second-year wideout Ricky Pearsall made his return to the field Sunday following a nagging hamstring injury, while veteran receiver Jauan Jennings left early with a calf injury as Isaiah Neyor continued to impress. With all 49ers players slated to report to Santa Clara on Tuesday, training camp officially begins for an organization primed for a bounce-back season.
