Karl Buechner and Jeremy Mueller, authors of “The Unraveling” (and Earth Crisis)

Dan Gump from Excessive Force & Life Sentence Records

In this episode, we sit down with Scott Angelacos—the unmistakable voice behind Bloodlet, Hope & Suicide, and Hollow Leg—to dig into the history, mythology, and lived reality of one of Florida’s heaviest and most influential frontmen. Scott walks us through the early days of Bloodlet, the unique darkness that shaped their sound, and the gritty Florida scene that helped forge so many boundary-pushing bands.

I love Thou. This is a band that took awhile for me to grab onto but once I did (recently mind you) it's taken hold and won't let go. I had to have Bryan, the vocalist, on the show to punish him about my obsession. We dove into his metal core roots, life in Louisiana and the DIY spirit that has permeated his life.
