Xavier My brothers tasted the Kool-Aid and kept right on drinking it — in more ways than one. I’m 100% Forever Steel, but I’m not selling out for a woman or a paycheck.

Music is my passion and I’m going to do it my way. I’m going to produce and play, what I want, when I want. No one is going to tell me what to do or hold the purse strings.

I’m glad Momma Joe didn’t put up much of a fight. The only thing she insisted on, was me hiring an assistant to oversee the business end. When I didn’t act quickly enough, she hired one for me. I pick my battles, and this wasn’t gonna be one of them. Momma Joe may think hiring the female version of a much younger Shaun White, would hold me back, but she’s wrong.

This isn’t about women it’s about production and passion. Well, that’s what I thought until I met the woman Momma Joe hired. Taelyn I took a job to help my fiancé Daniel, through medical school. It wasn’t going to be easy dealing with some entitled wanna-be rock star, who was starting up a production company and watch it fail.

Even worse would be secretly reporting to his mother on his progress. I dreaded it, but it was a means to an end.

Poor little rich boy, right?

Except, he was not at all what I expected.

He was more. So much more.
