In the sultry shadows of the human world, Charon finds a normal fulfilling life. But in the dark hours of the night when the world is asleep, he dons the cloak of the ferryman, guiding souls to the world below. Bound by his duty to the underworld and his love for the simple human life he's living on earth, he struggles to balance the two worlds, his existence, a delicate dance between the living and the dead. Circe is a powerful sorceress under the disguise of an average, typical girl living a simple, satisfying life. Charon defies the laws of death, a daring act of love to help Circe, untangling a series of unfortunate events.

Their fate is tested when the veil lifts and Circe's divine nature is revealed. Torn by forbidden love and divine duty, they make drastic decisions.
