When video footage of a local TV news anchor having sex with an underaged paid escort goes public, he takes his wife hostage in a desperate attempt to salvage his crumbling life. Although other reporters at the scene go home when the situation resolves peacefully, veteran journalist Geneva Chase knows there’s more to the story. Following leads, she traces the blackmail attempt to an exclusive app called the Whisper Room. When she tracks down the business owners, she is left with more questions than answers.
