Then and Now

Leo Talbot was my highschool sweetheart. Now he and his daughter have moved to town, and he’s made it clear he wants a second chance at forever - with me.

We promised to love each other forever, until I discovered love is a lie, and broke that promise - and both of our hearts.

I never expected to see him again, much less in my new hometown of Dogwood Cove, with an adorable daughter in tow.

Old feelings are hard to deny, and it’s easy to get swept up in the hope of a second chance with Leo. But with years of heartache and pain between us, can I trust Leo to stand beside me as I face the ghosts of my past?

Despite the way I ended things, Leo says he’s here to stay, and that he wants to rebuild my trust in love. But letting Leo and his daughter past the walls around my heart won’t be easy, when I had promised myself never to let anyone get that close again.

Then again, it wouldn’t be the first promise I’ve broken when it comes to Leo.
