The Woman in Car 13

A BRAND NEW claustrophobic, gripping thriller from DE White

Five strangers. One witness. One chance to stop a catastrophe before it's too late.

A funfair ride grinds to a halt, leaving five strangers stranded 15 metres above the ground on a towering Big Wheel.

Among them is Kayla, a struggling single mum who juggles part-time jobs with cleaning the luxury homes of nearby Lime Grove. Given an unexpected hour off, she never imagined she'd spend it suspended in the sky.

From her seat, Kayla spots something disturbing unfolding at the edge of the fairground. She tries to raise the alarm, but no one can hear her. As panic spreads among the trapped passengers, fragments of conversations she's overheard and secrets she's glimpsed while moving between two very different worlds suddenly click into place.

The ride malfunction isn't an accident. It's the opening move in something far more dangerous.

Kayla has spent her life on the sidelines, watching other people's lives. Now she's trapped at the centre of a deadly conspiracy, and the only person who can see the whole picture.

Claustrophobic, cinematic and full of mounting dread, this expertly plotted thriller will keep readers racing through the pages to uncover the truth.
