The Wolves

In the year 2025, the Canadian Parliament passed Bill C-127. This legislation officially declassified infected citizens as "hostile entities," turning those carrying the LYCAN-1 virus into targets for state-sanctioned "population management." David Keller was a man seeking a way to repair his fractured life, until he found a pregnant female in his crosshairs. He chose to lower his rifle, opting for mercy over a government paycheck, and transformed himself into a target in the process.

This story follows two families through decades of secrets and survival. When Rick and Jennifer Davidson rescue a newborn girl from a blood-soaked clearing, they name her Hope and raise her in the shadows of the wilderness. They watch her struggle to keep her human soul intact as her biology attempts to rewrite itself under the light of every full moon. The world believes she is a ticking time bomb, but her parents know she is a symbol of everything the government wants to destroy.

The official reports from the World Lycanthrope Investigation Commission (WLIC) are redacted lies designed to fuel a genocide.

This visceral thriller examines the dark consequences of bureaucratic evil and the enduring power of parental love. It is a haunting exploration of where the line between man and monster actually falls, revealing that the most dangerous predators often wear badges and suits.
