This books tries to explain in what these hypothesis entail and also analyses them with a healthy level of constructive criticism. In order to do this properly the book will explain important terminology (LDL, Total cholesterol, etc.) and possible mechanisms of atherosclerosis and how it is related to cholesterol. All in all this book will enable people who want to know more about the subject without having to become a physician an essential background that can be used to take informed decisions regarding health choices and can also be used to have a more meaningful discussion with physicians and other health professionals.
