The Promise

Her father vanished. The supernatural worlds he wrote about are real. And so is the war.

Seventeen-year-old Ellyce Jensen has spent fifty-six days searching for her missing father. All she wants is to find him and get back to her regularly scheduled existence. But when two men break into their house, she discovers that Thomas has been hiding more than his whereabouts.

His novels hold the clues to a map of seven supernatural realms and the path that could lead Ellyce to him. But she’s not the only one searching for his secrets. The Vulpine demons want the map for themselves, and even the boy Ellyce thought she could trust is keeping secrets of his own.

Thomas didn’t just leave her a trail to follow. He left her a promise—one made before she was born, binding her to a fractured kingdom. Now Ellyce must decide whether to claim her bloodline inheritance and become a target in an ancient war—or abandon the only path she knows to finding her father.

If you love portal fantasy • a reluctant heroine • a secret bloodline • a bashert bond • mythology rooted in ancient Hebrew, welcome to the realms.
