The Practice of the Presence of God explores the non-dual understanding at the heart of the mystical Christian tradition.

Recorded during a weekend online retreat with Rupert Spira, and drawing on the wisdom of mystics such as Meister Eckhart and Brother Lawrence, these guided meditations and conversations reveal that the presence of God is not a matter of belief, but of direct experience – the most intimate and innermost aspect of our being.

During the retreat, Rupert asks what is meant by the word ‘God’, what it means to ‘practise the presence of God’, and how we might ‘pray without ceasing’ whilst living fully in the world. As we practise it, our experience gradually becomes infused with the unconditional love of pure being, as we discover that what we are and what God is are essentially the same.

This is an invitation to get to know, and immerse ourself deeply in, the peaceful silence of being at the heart of our self – the presence of God that is fully available to each of us in every moment.
