The Pirate Cave Monster

Patrick and Donna love a good adventure and mystery, which they are constantly exploring one or the other.

“Did you pack everything we need, Patrick?” Donna asked in excitement as she put her diary in her book bag. Donna always writes about their adventures together because her dream is to be a mystery writer.

“Yes, I got all we will need for our adventure in the cave along with my sword to slay the monsters,” Patrick said and swung the sword back and forth as it slices the air making a whipping sound.

“I’m not afraid of the big, bad pirate monsters,” Patrick shouted as Donna squealed with delight.

“Even when monsters are not often believable, monsters exist.”

About the Author

E. Petina Clarke was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, and studied Communication and Journalism at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. In addition, she studied Commercial Arts at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A military veteran who served eight years in the United States Army. Author of the novel, “Heart’s Deepest Secret.”
