Inside, echoes of the past intertwine with the spectral music, hinting at something far older and more mysterious than a single haunting.

Guided by a cryptic journal given to her by Beacon’s director, Paula Smith—a journal said to have been written by a long-departed predecessor—Lois begins to suspect that the line between past and present is thinner than anyone realizes.

As the Twilight Society unearths hidden letters, buried rivalries, and a scandal that once rocked the mansion’s days as a finishing school, Lois comes closer to understanding not only the ghost’s unfinished symphony, but the deeper forces connecting them all.
