The Mystery of Christ, His Covenant, and His Kingdom

This book is a study of covenant theology that traces the storyline of Scripture from Adam to Christ, with Christ at the center of God’s redemptive plan. Samuel Renihan draws from the Bible, biblical theology, and the Particular Baptist tradition to show how the covenants shape the unity and flow of Scripture.

The work explains key themes such as the covenant of works, the covenant of redemption, and the covenant of grace, along with related issues like typology, the relationship between covenant and kingdom, and how continuity and discontinuity work across the biblical covenants. Throughout, Christ is presented as the fulfillment of God’s covenant purposes.

Rooted in seventeenth-century Particular Baptist thought and engaged with modern discussions, the book gives a distinct Reformed Baptist reading of covenant theology. It moves between careful exegesis and theological reflection, always keeping Scripture in view.

While dealing with complex theological questions, the tone remains readable and clear. It is intended for pastors, students, and anyone wanting a better grasp of how the Bible holds together in Christ.
