The Man He Was Paid to Kill: A Dark MM Hitman Romance

He was paid to kill him. Four years ago, that man saved his life.

Dom Varga has spent nineteen years doing what he's paid to do. No questions. No attachments. No regrets he can afford to acknowledge.

Then his next assignment lands on his desk.

Ellis Navarro. Thirty years old. Financial controller. Accused of stealing $8.4 million from some of the most dangerous men in the city.

And the stranger who once knelt beside Dom in a rain-soaked alley and refused to let him die.

Dom refuses the contract.

Another assassin accepts it.

Now Ellis is running for his life, armed with a notebook full of evidence, a devastating talent for finding the truth, and absolutely no intention of letting a terrifyingly attractive professional killer make all his decisions.

Dom knows how to eliminate a threat. He knows how to disappear. He knows how to keep a man alive.

What he doesn't know is how to want someone without turning that desire into another kind of danger.

Forced into hiding together, the ruthless hitman and the sharp-tongued accountant discover an attraction neither can control. Their nights become increasingly intimate, their boundaries increasingly complicated, and the financial conspiracy hunting Ellis more deadly with every revelation.

But when Dom decides that saving Ellis means sacrificing himself, Ellis must confront the one man he never expected to fall in love with.

Because surviving isn't enough.

This time, Dom has to learn how to stay.

The Man He Was Paid to Kill is a dark, high-heat MM romantic suspense featuring a morally gray hitman, an intelligent and determined accountant, forced proximity, protective obsession, consensual power exchange, dangerous secrets, and a hard-won happily-ever-after.
