The Istanbul Legacy

Two former MI6 officers, Bill Simpson and Eileen Harriman, die on the same day on opposite sides of the world. Coincidence? What was the secret project they had been working on years earlier? In turmoil he sets off to trace his biological father's footsteps across Europe, ending up in a traumatic encounter with Commander Kadir Demercol, the man who arrested his father and brought him to trial.

Emotionally exhausted, he heads for Australia, where, by chance, he meets and falls in love with Anoushka Demercol, Kadir's daughter. She is lodging in a house once owned by Eileen Harriman. During renovations, a package is found addressed to former Superintendent John Arbuthnot, friend of Kadir.
