He's the writer, director, and visionary behind BeernutsProductions.com and is here to talk about his latest audio project, The Body Corporate Meeting. He dives into how he mined real-life situations for comedy gold, why he approached the recording of the piece as an old-fashioned radio play, and the difference in writing and producing audio and film projects. In our conversation, we talk about his creative process and when the best ideas show up, the role memory plays in coming up with creative connections, and what he's learned about life from dogs.

In our conversation, we talk about how he got into podcasting, how his travels inform the show, the creative process, the importance of learning from others, and how curiosity presents itself differently in cultures around the world. He also asks me how I learn, which evolves into a discussion around our creative DNA.

Not much in the world of work shocks me anymore, but this headline on LinkedIn got me: "The rise of the 'infinite workday.'" Naturally, I clicked the juicy headline. I had to find out which level of hell this monstrosity came from and what we can do about it. The "reactions" are to an article on Axios (two letters shy of Anxious) by Emily Beck titled Remote work has created an infinite workday. Covering a report from Microsoft, Beck describes a world of work without boundaries, the allure of flexibility, work spanning multiple time zones, pings, dings, distractions—and since it's Microsoft—the savior of the day? AI. While I'm curious how I can avoid an infinite workday in my own business, I have to ask, what did we expect from a business world driven by profit alone?
