The Hum Beneath the Floorboards: A Measured Collapse

In a house that is slowly forgetting itself, located in a town hollowed out by industrial collapse, a lone archivist begins a strange and obsessive project. This is his record a fragmented, sensory-heavy account of a world reduced to small, decaying objects. Through the meticulous logging of old bus schedules, the changing geography of a water stain, and the relentless, low-frequency hum of an unseen machine, he attempts to piece together a history that was never meant to be saved.

The narrative is a descent into a claustrophobic present where the past intrudes as vivid, unreliable memory. It is an exploration of profound isolation and the unsettling discovery of what was left running, deep in the earth, after everyone else was gone. 'The Hum Beneath the Floorboards' is a raw, experimental memoir about the ghosts of industry, the failure of memory, and one man's dialogue with the vibrating heart of a dead town.
