Rabindranath Tagore as a poet and a writer has been known for his legendary creations that have been a subject of study and research for so many people literary enthusiasts in the world. This mesmerising poem, The Gardener speaks about unrelenting love that one feels that make him surrender unconditionally and expect no acknowledgement for the limitless love that he feels in his heart.
The poem holds special significance in today's times when people are so engrossed with their everyday life that love only seems a distant reality. It is mere mundane duties and chores that a person is bound with and space that needs to filled with warm love is empty and always yearning for affection. The love described here is the universal love and oneness that binds people into one great world at large.
