The Exiled Ruler’s Ruthless Raider: Banished Leader Who Commands a Warrior to Reclaim Her Throne Historical Romance

Runa Haraldsdottir hits the shore with salt in her lungs and nothing else.

No crown. No council. No ships. The men she trusted put her in the northern seas and left her to drown, and she didn't drown - which is the first thing they got wrong about her.

She needs an army. She needs someone who doesn't answer to the council that exiled her, someone the whole Viking world is afraid to cross. That brings her to Bjorn the Unbowed, a raider who's never bent a knee to anyone and isn't looking to start.

Runa's offer is straightforward: land, riches, and a war worth showing up for. Bjorn's heard that kind of pitch before. He takes the meeting anyway.

What he doesn't expect is her. Not the title, not the desperation she refuses to show - the actual woman underneath, the one who stands her ground in a longhouse full of men who'd like to see her flinch. He doesn't quite know what to do with that.

They sail hard coasts together. They fight. They argue over strategy while the wind cuts through the rigging and the spray stings their faces. Somewhere in all of it, the line between alliance and something more personal gets harder to see.

The Sea Council isn't finished with her. Loyalties keep shifting. Every move they make is watched.

Runa wants her throne back, clean and total. Bjorn wants no one's leash around his neck. What they're building between them doesn't fit neatly into either of those plans.

One of them will have to bend. The question is who breaks first.

Enter a world where powerful women rule the seas and even the fiercest warriors are brought to their knees by the one woman they cannot resist.

Across the storm-ruled northern seas, power belongs to the women who command fleets, shape alliances, and decide the fate of warriors. In a world of raiders, rulers, and rival clans, these formidable leaders do not wait to be claimed. They choose, they test, and they demand loyalty from men strong enough to stand beside them. Each story follows a fierce heroine and the dangerous warrior drawn into her orbit, where desire collides with duty and control becomes surrender. As a hidden enemy rises beneath the waves, passion and power intertwine, and only those bold enough to yield will survive the tides.
