Who is Dr Bedri Ruhselman? 1898-1960. Pioneer of Neo-Spiritualism in Turkey and the founding member of Metapsychical Investigations and Scientific Research Society in 1950. Author of Ruh ve Kainat (Spirit and Universe, 1946), Ruhlar Arasında (Among Spirits, 1947), Allah (1951), Mediumship (presented in Stockholm congress of the International Spiritualist Federation, 1952), Mukadderat ve İcabat (Destiny and Necessity, 1953).

About The Metapsychical Investigations and Scientific Research Society: Founded in 1950 by Dr. Bedri Ruhselman, who was a medical doctor. It has been in operation ever since, and has been expanding constantly. The principal areas of interest are mediumistic studies and spiritual communication through hypnotic processes, and educational studies to evaluate the large volume of knowledge received through mediumistic séances. Other areas include extrasensory perception, by which someone appears to acquire information concerning an event or another person by unknown means, and pyschokinesis, the phenomenon wherein someone appears to be inexplicably able to influence the physical environment through psychic power alone.
