‘The Discarded Chapter and other stories’ is a collection of eight diverse and original tales, all published here for the first time. These stories span geographies, eras and realities, from East Anglia to Ukraine to Central Africa; the 1970s to a post-industrial future; and the material realm to the otherworld and afterlife. They explore a variety of human relationships, but with common threads: these characters are in thrall to the past and compelled by circumstances to confront awkward truths.
