Erotik
The dean knows better than to want him. He knows the rules, the consequences, the ruin waiting at the end of this road. He knows all of it and still finds himself outside the grad student's apartment at two in the morning, still memorizes the path he takes from lab to library to late-night coffee shop, still touches himself in his office chair remembering the curve of his throat when he swallowed hard during their last meeting.
The grad student has built himself from nothing. First-gen scholarship, working-class pride, the kind of hunger that shows in his eyes when someone implies he doesn't belong in these hallowed halls. He has survived worse men than this dean. He tells himself that, even as he notices the dean's gaze lingering too long on his mouth, even as he starts wearing certain shirts on certain days, even as he leaves his blinds cracked open at night and tells himself he doesn't know what he's inviting.
Their offices share a floor. Their hours overlap. The dean invents reasons to summon him, and the grad student invents reasons to delay leaving, and both of them pretend not to notice the game until the dean closes the door and locks it and asks, quiet and terrible, if he's been thinking about this too.
What follows is not gentle. The dean's hands leave marks. He likes making the grad student say please, making him admit what he needs, reducing him to wet eyes and spread thighs in that leather chair where dissertation committees decide futures. The degradation is meticulous, filthy, complete - and the grad student learns something humiliating about himself, which is that he craves the loss of control, the temporary surrender of all that exhausting pride, the freedom of being used by someone who sees him too clearly and wants him anyway.
But the dean's obsession does not stay in that office. It follows him home, fills his phone, demands more than either of them agreed to. And when another professor notices, when a rival for the dean's position starts asking questions, when the grad student's carefully constructed independence threatens to collapse under the weight of what they're doing, they must decide whether this thing between them is sustainable or simply consuming - whether possession can ever be mistaken for love, and whether either of them wants to learn the difference.
A full-length MM dark professor stalker degradation erotic romance.
