The Brain Suckers

“The Head of the Bureau approached Sir Williams and said, ‘At the end of a year of membership and service in the ‘Brain Suckers' group you will undergo the first insertion of brain matter.’" The Head of the Bureau removed his tall hat and revealed a strange head, a kind of triangle truncated at its tip. Sir Williams was startled. His eyes widened. ‘We have mapped humanity,’ added the man and continued, ‘our aspiration is that every person with an IQ of 130 and higher will join our elite group, the ‘Brain Suckers'.’"

The plot of The Brain Suckers, is set in Scotland and spreads across the globe, telling the story of rescuing humanity from the clutches of an elitist organization with a dark, totalitarian ideology. The group is headed by a brilliant, yet deranged dictator named Douglas Wallace. Some of Wallace's own followers secretly oppose his plans and establish an underground movement that begins laying the groundwork for future resistance. Deborah Tomer, a teenage girl, the daughter of Yaron Tomer, one of the opponents to the ‘Brain Suckers', was destined from birth to become the 'Spearhead'. She is given a decisive role in saving humanity from the grasp of this powerful, exploitative force. The Brain Suckers unfolds a dramatic struggle between an immense, destructive force and an underground group acting in the name of humane and enlightened values. The story brings together people of the three monotheistic religions from different places around the world, who unite in the pursuit of peace and humanity’s redemption. Ilana Dahan, married and the mother of four, was born in Israel in 1956. She holds an M.A. in Psychology and Education from Ben-Gurion University. She is a certified parenting group facilitator and a personal coach under the “Power of Consciousness” program. Additionally, she specializes in didactic assessment, disabilities, ADHD, and remedial education.
