The Botanist's Secret

Kerensa and her grandmother Morwenna are the only residents of the wild and isolated Treflora Island. Morwenna refuses to leave their grand, crumbling house, and Kerensa has never known why… but Kerensa likes her quiet life here as a botanist, studying the rare plants and trees that make up the ancient woodlands. She tells herself that the visiting scientists who come each summer are enough to stave off loneliness. But everything changes when Arthur arrives. Kerensa is used to welcoming fellow botanists: but Arthur is an investigator. He has questions for Morwenna about the real reason she won’t leave the island.
